It’s also fundamental to pick a character that suits your preferred playstyle: some are better for swift, close combat, and some excel at fighting from a bit of distance. We couldn’t at least mention Apex Legends here: it’s one of the most popular BR right now, and it’s probably not going to change soon. The formula isn’t anything revolutionary, but the execution is what makes this one so enjoyable. The weapons are balanced perfectly, the controls are swift and responsive, and all characters have their own unique abilities and cool designs. You don’t have to re-design the whole concept to make it work, and this game shows how to do it in style.
